Hello November! I can’t believe the month of October has come to an end. It was a fun filled packed adventurous month. We took a quick trip traveling across the country to sunny California.
My son graduated from the Marine Recruit Depot in San Diego California. Congratulations Austin! You are now a United States Marine, and we couldn’t be prouder of you!
Austins Battalion was the color yellow. So it was very important that we found outfits for Family Day as well as Graduation Day that were either all yellow or had some form of yellow in it. I knew that I needed to find a summer style outfit because it’s much warmer in San Diego then Connecticut. It wasn’t going to be easy but I was up for the challenge. I needed to find a cute, comfortable, outfit and not only 2 for me but Olivia as well. The hunt was on!
On Family Day my mom wore a yellow sleeveless with pockets romper jumpsuit. This tank top loose fit one-piece romper, designed with scoop neck, two side pockets, beam foot, elastic waist, and back button closure was perfect for the chilly morning before the sun came shining through to layer with a jean jacket to give it the perfect look. This cute romper comes is perfect for not only summer but fall. I wore a Yellow Boho short sleeve open shoulder swing style dress. This cute dress with pockets has soft breathable skin-friendly fabric to make the perfect dress.
On Graduation Day my mom wore a Bohemian V neck floral midi wrap dress that was perfect! Not only is it lightweight, stretchy, breathable, soft on delicate skin, but it has a polyester-matte texture. Mid length, empire elastic high waist, A line, short sleeve was perfect for my mom who is extremely petite. She wore with sandals, but this versatile style can be dressed up with a pair of boots or heels. I knew I also needed to find something for Olivia. I found her a cute sleeveless dress featuring a V-neckline, two flap pockets, a chiffon fabric overlay, and contrast lining. It was so comfortable that she barely felt it when she was twirling around on the parade grounds. She was excited to show off her dress, and it definitely made her stand out.
